For the launch of the 28 Years Later trailer, our goal was clear: make heads roll.
Leading up to its release, audiences hadn’t seen the post–Rage Virus society in nearly two decades. To build on that anticipation, our challenge was to create a trailer countdown that didn’t just offer a first glimpse, but invited fans to start piecing the chilling truth together for themselves.

THE DETAILS
Using the franchise’s biohazard symbol as a starting point, we designed a countdown video that merged it with a new defining image for 28 Years Later: human skulls.
Individually animated red skulls formed the evolving mark, blending the film’s visual identity with its brutality. Flash frames of footage were hidden throughout, encoding a message in Morse code for fans to decode.
